Parent Testimonials
When you stop by for a tour, feel free to ask the Site Supervisor for our list of Parent References from current and past families!
Our daughter has infant care at this location, which is a newer location associated with Hamline Child development center. We feel very reassured sending our daughter here each day. The staff are in contact with us throughout the day and the facility follows strict safety standards. Our oldest daughter has attended Hamline CDC for years and this is setup to become a similarly wonderful infant to Pre-k location.
-Jack Smethells, Parent since October 2014 (Como and Hamline locations) Love the family friendly atmosphere and knowing all the staff by name. The staff is friendly and keeps me posted on what is going on with my child.

We love the Learning Garden and are so happy we found them! Our son has been attending the learning garden for a year or so now and he is just thriving! Prior to The Learning Garden, drop-off’s were rough at his previous child care, but now he asks when we are leaving the house in the morning. He is learning so much and I can just see how much he is growing and developing. I mentioned to his teachers that I needed some help with potty training and within a week, he is fully trained. I can see how much the teachers truly care for the kids and enjoy their jobs. My husband and I have both still had to work during the current pandemic and it has been so great to have the security of child care and having full trust in the staff that the safety of the kids and themselves is at the forefront of their minds. We could not be more grateful for The Learning Garden community.

This smaller-but-mighty childcare center is fantastic. The staff members are friendly, patient, insightful, creative, dedicated, flexible, and accommodating. The teachers and aides we've worked most closely with, along with the director, have always been very receptive to our feedback and any special care requests we've made. This center definitely feels like a collaborative partner for our family, with regular communication from staff working closely with us to meet the individual needs of our son and promote his mental, emotional, and physical growth. We love the diversity of the curriculum-based activities, knowing our son is challenged daily and enjoys his time at the center.
