About Our Menu
The Learning Garden provides fresh, nutritious meals for all our children. We serve breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack each day. We provide fresh fruit and/or vegetables on a daily basis. We also use whole grain bread, rice, pasta and cereal. We strive to use salt, sugar and syrups sparingly. We serve no pork products and juice is only served once a week. Milk is served with each breakfast and lunch. All of our meals meet the USDA nutrition requirements.

Child and Adult Food Care ProgramThe Learning Garden participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). All meals meet the USDA requirements. CACFP provides aid to child and adult care institutions and family or group day care homes for the provision of nutritious foods that contribute to the wellness, healthy growth, and development of young children, and the health and wellness of older adults and chronically impaired disabled persons.
